My journey in medicine has been profoundly shaped by the education and opportunities I received in my home country of Ecuador. It is my deepest conviction that this gift must be paid forward. That is why I am proud to serve as the Medical Director for The Leal Foundation, a non-profit organization with a 501(c)(3) status dedicated to bridging the gap in healthcare for underserved communities.
Founded by Ana Lucia Almeida in 2022, The Leal Foundation is driven by a simple mission: to bring dignified, compassionate, and accessible medical care to those who need it most. Our work is grounded in core values of Compassion, Integrity, Collaboration, and Sustainability
